Staff Update

Leslie Mitchel Bond became the foundation’s first Program Officer on April 1, 2009.  Leslie has a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Education from Erikson Institute.  She has over 20 years work experience in the nonprofit sector, which includes developing and launching Healthy Families America, a national program designed to help expectant and new parents get their children off to a healthy start.  She also worked as a consultant with Prince Charitable Trusts in Chicago. Leslie serves as a Board Member of Sinai Health System and is Past Chair of Sinai Community Institute in Chicago.  She is passionate about making a difference in the world.  She cares about kids, health care, and the direction the health care field is going.
