The Foundation’s Board is comprised of members of the community who have significant knowledge about the needs of the area. The Board intends to be broadly representative of the community it serves, and consideration is given to candidates of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, candidates with experience in and knowledge of the community’s particular health and education issues, and candidates who are committed to the needs of vulnerable populations.
