June 2019 Grantee Convening

In June 2019, HFNLC hosted a grantee convening to discuss the findings of our recent community needs assessment and to solicit grantee input. Eighty-two individuals, including HFNLC staff and board members, attended. Following Rob Paral’s presentation highlighting key data points and conclusions, the attendees participated in a lively discussion on what these findings mean to the community and nonprofit organizations serving northern Lake County. The Foundation also wanted to know which findings were surprising; whether the report raised awareness of new opportunities to improve access to healthcare; and items that should be including in future needs assessments.
